High School Session 2

 

Pre-registration Information:

 

There are three ways to complete the required registration.  One is online through this website (www.shinefashion.com), another is by mail and the last is in person. 

 

Please note:  We reserve the right to limit the number of contestants for the show.  In the event that your child is not selected, we will notify you and your registration fee will be refunded.

 

  1. Online registration is available from now until 11pm Monday June 9, 2008.  All entries received after that time will not be valid.  

 

  1. If you are mailing your forms and payment, please use the address below and include your contact information so that we may notify you upon receipt of your package.  If you want us to mail you a receipt, please be sure to include the return address on a self address stamped envelope (entries must be post marked no later than Monday June 9th, 2008):

3.   The one-day onsite registration will be held Saturday May 31st, 2008 at the Marriott Hotel (Hwy 280) Birmingham, AL from 12pm-3pm.

 

Registration Checklist:

 

  • $30.00 registration fee (once selected this is non-refundable)
  • Completion of registration form
  • Completion of contestant release form (This show will be filmed and photographed by authorized Moon Men personnel.  If you have any questions regarding this document, please call us at (205) 222-1316.)

 

Note: Only paying the registration fee and completing the registration form may be done online.  The release must be signed and delivered either to the onsite registration or mailed to:

Acceptable forms of payment: credit card, cash or money order

 

You may pay the registration fee online with credit card or by cash or money order at the onsite registration.

 

All three of these must be received or postmarked no later than Monday June 9th, 2008.

 

Event Orientation:

 

The pre-event orientation will take place the same day as the onsite registration, but will start at 2pm.  Below are the areas that will be covered.

 

  • Suggested miscellaneous items to bring to the show (makeup, hair grooming tools, etc)
  • Stage layout (dimensions and entrance / exit)
  • Backstage layout (dressing rooms, makeup station and hair stylist booth)
  • Things to expect at the event
  • Event services (hair and makeup)
  • Overview of all competition categories (casual, formal, creative / fun, walking, introduction, interview and photo shoot)
  • Judge grading criteria
  • Prizes
  • Opportunity to purchase tickets
  • DVD and photo package sales
  • Open questions
